Here are some legal reminders to make your work count: -You must be a REGISTERED VOTER and RESIDENT of Oklahoma to circulate -Carry extra pens and petitions, two, three or four clipboards (cardboard works) -TWO PETITIONS per clipboard: front cover on one side and signature list on other (use rubber bands) -Ask people, "Are you a registered Oklahoma voter?" before they sign -Ask if they would sign your petition as you hand it to them. Get it in their hands! -Say "This petition will let Oklahomans vote on allowing more choices on the ballot." -DO NOT ARGUE! Move on to the next person. Getting signatures is the goal. Once you fill up a petition with signatures: -You must have your sheet notarized (try your bank, they do it for free) -Then mail the signatures to the Tulsa PO Box on the petition -Let us know if you want an OBAR T-shirt for petitioning and OBAR cards to distribute (Questions?
